Share Tip on a UK Penny Stock

I’ve been hearing good stories about Tom Bulford of The Penny Sleuth in the UK recently.  He appears to have a knack of rooting out good small-cap investment tips.  In general, I am not a fan of penny stocks, mainly due to the lack of liquidity in the shares, but also because of the lack of coverage of these companies by stock market analysts and stockbrokers.

However, I’m always prepared to give a good guy a fair crack of the whip and that’s why I am going to recommend his latest investment tip Sovereign Mines of Africa.  Quoted on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) on the London Stock Exchange (LSE), the shares closed on Friday with a bid-offer spread of 3.5p-4p, so I’m going to grit my teeth and buy them at 4p.  This is a new Opening Trade.
